What is mobile physiotherapy? How much space do you need?
We come right to your house and bring all the supplies needed, including our own portable treatment beds. Appointments will usually last between 45-60 minutes. We don’t need very much space and sessions can be completed in a chair or on your own bed depending on the condition. We haven’t found a space too small yet! Your therapist will bring everything they need for your appointment.
How often will I need to book in?
This is a difficult question to answer before your therapist arrives and does an assessment. Your therapist will take into consideration your individual needs and make recommendations at the end of your session for frequency.
What are the benefits of mobile physiotherapy?
For someone that is struggling to leave the house due to mobility issues, childcare, busy schedules, etc – we remove those barriers for you. Your session will be one-on-one with your healthcare professional in the comfort of your own home.
What is your catchment area for mobile physiotherapy?
Our company is currently offering mobile physiotherapy in 3 different provinces – Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Alberta!
We service all of Winnipeg, Steinbach, Carman and surrounding areas with a focus on the smaller towns southwest of Winnipeg. Our catchment area includes RM of Macdonald, RM of Ritchot, Niverville, Lorette, Landmark and Headingley. If you are unsure if you are within our catchment area please either email, call or text. If you are not within our catchment area you will have the option to either a) pay the mileage fee listed under our pricing section or b) book a virtual physiotherapy session by video.
We now offer services in clinic in Morris, MB as well! The clinic is located in the Morris Multiplex on Stampede Grounds.
Our locations in Alberta include Calgary & Edmonton. The Saskatchewan locations are Saskatoon & Regina.
Do you offer in-home massage therapy?
Yes! We have a registered massage therapist on our team who offers 60 minute and 90 minute massages. The massage therapist will bring a portable treatment bed and linens to the appointment and will require 5-10 minutes for set-up and take down.
Currently, we are only offering at our Winnipeg location but are looking for others to hire in other locations.
Do you offer pelvic floor physiotherapy?
Yes! In 3 locations.
In Winnipeg, Dixie provides in home pelvic floor physiotherapy.
In Morris, Alex offers in clinic sessions.
In Carman, Alex is offering in home sessions.
Do you offer in-home rehabilitation for my child?
Yes! We are currently offering at 2 of our locations.
In Winnipeg, Natalie has many years of experience with working at the Children’s Hospital and is currently taking new patients. In Edmonton, Lisa has numerous years of experience with children!
Do you offer in-home physiotherapy after stroke or brain injury?
Yes! Nicole, Kyle, Jasem, and Emily have a wealth of knowledge and experience treating brain injuries and stroke.
Wait, you come to me?
Yes! It really is the best part. No having to find childcare or leave your home during poor weather conditions. We come to you!
I’m outside your catchment area, how does the mileage rate work?
When our therapists are outside of the catchment area they will begin tracking mileage and will charge $0.50 per kilometre at the end of the physiotherapy session.
Do you offer physiotherapy by video?
Yes! We would be happy to provide virtual physiotherapy services via laptop if you are not within driving distance of our catchment area.
Do you direct bill?
Yes! We offer direct billing for the following insurance companies: Blue Cross, Canada Life, SunLife, ManuLife and more. When we send you our intake forms, there is a section to upload insurance. It is important we have this information prior to your appointment in order for us to direct bill.
Do you offer physiotherapy in the workplace?
Yes! During a lunch hour or break you can save the trip to a clinic and we can provide treatment directly at your place of work OR we also offer corporate rates to see multiple clients at once. Send us an email for more information.
