Hi, I’m Kalie!! I’m a physiotherapist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
I graduated with my Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Before entering the School of Rehabilitation Science, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honors. My areas of interest include: muscle and joint injuries, arthritis, and sports injuries.
I grew up on a farm near the town of Lake Lenore, Saskatchewan where I participated in dance, basketball, track & field and soccer.
In my free time, I enjoy golfing, baking, weightlifting and spending time at the lake.
I went into a kinesiology undergrad degree knowing I had an interest in anatomy and exercise, but was unsure where to go afterwards. During my undergrad, I saw friends and family with pain or injuries return to the activities they love through the guidance of a physiotherapist. This pushed me to look into physiotherapy as a career option & it didn’t take long to see that it would be a great fit for me!
I enjoy having a mix of different populations in my day to keep things interesting. Lately, I’ve been especially enjoying working with post-operative clients. It is rewarding watching the progressions from very limited function back to doing the things that they love to do.
